The result is a distinctive sweater featuring botanical-inspired motifs and an unusual construction that begins at the back and shoulders.<\/p>\n<p>A project to enjoy stitch by stitch, watching the different motifs come together as the garment takes shape.<\/p>\n<h3>What makes Amari Sweater special<\/h3>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>A combination of lace, cables and bobbles.<\/li>\n<li>Textured, botanical-inspired motifs.<\/li>\n<li>A construction that starts at the back and shoulders.<\/li>\n<li>Detailed charts to follow the stitch patterns.<\/li>\n<li>Professionally tech-edited and test-knitted pattern.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Test knitter feedback<\/h3>\n<p>During the test knit, knitters highlighted Amari\u2019s distinctive construction, the finished garment and how enjoyable it is to watch the stitch pattern take shape.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt is easier than it looks, and the pattern guides you very clearly.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt is a beautiful garment and very enjoyable to knit.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe stitch repeat becomes intuitive and, after a little practice, the bobbles are no longer a problem.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Amari requires attention, particularly when following the charts, but offers an engaging knitting experience full of detail.<\/p>\n<h3>The yarn: Beta by Bilobila<\/h3>\n<p>Amari is knitted in <strong>Beta by <\/strong><a href=\"LINK-TO-BETA\"><strong>Bilobila<\/strong><\/a>, a blend of superkid mohair and silk that gives the fabric a lightweight feel, a soft finish and a delicate halo. It enhances the textures and brings depth to the lace, cables and bobbles.<\/p>\n<p>If you would like to knit Amari using the same yarn as my sample, you can find Beta on the Bilobila website.<\/p>\n<h3>Is this pattern for you?<\/h3>\n<p>Amari is an intermediate pattern for knitters who enjoy lace and textured stitch patterns, and love following a design as it gradually takes shape.<\/p>\n<p>You should be comfortable with knit and purl stitches, increases and decreases, and knitting in the round.
