ELUR SWEATER ADULT

Inspiration

I really like how lacework and bobbles look on a finished garment. They create an unique relief. On this design, I give you a sweater to play with both lace and bobbles to create a unique sweater for the chilly winter days.

Sizes

1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6). Bust circumference from 96 cm/ 38.5 inches to 126 cm/ 50.5 inches

Do you feel like knitting something different and challenging? That is the Elur sweater knitting pattern.

In the knitting pattern you will find the instructions to knit it in five sizes. Sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5)  with final measurement of the tee a between 91 and 126 cm / 35.75 and  49.5 in. You can measure a top you really like and choose the nearest size.

This pattern is part of my Mini&Me knitting collection in which you will have the version adapted for the little ones.  If you already have one of the two patterns, use the code that appears on the last page and get the other pattern with a 20% discount. You can check the kids version here.

In this pattern you will find the yoke graphed for each size. You will see how the yoke grows from the neckline as the openwork is created.

Recommendations

I do recommend that you have an intermediate level of knitting, so you don’t get frustrated. The lace is formed with increases and decreases on the right side and the wrong side, so if you are a very beginner, you may find it frustrating and that is the last thing I would like.

The pattern has been tech edited to check for any mistakes and tested by several testers to make sure they could follow it without any problems.

If you want more information go to the construction notes, prerequisites, materials and gauge tabs above.

Construction notes

The sweater is a yoke, top down construction worked in the round. After the collar, there are some short rows to make the back part of the sweater higher. Once short rows are finished, the rest of it is worked in the round. Along the yoke, the chart is repeated 3 times for the front and back and 2 times for sleeve yoke part.
Once the chest width is reached, divide for sleeves and body, placing sleeves on stitch holders or waste yarn, and continuing with body only in the round.

Difficulty Level

Intermediate

What do you need to know?

Work in the round, to knit and purl, increases and decreases. The pattern is charted only. I include one video to help you with it, if it is your first time.
