Construction notes

This tee is available in 5 sizes determined by the bust circumference. It should have a positive ease of 10-15 cm (4-6 in). It is knitted flat in 2 parts, front and back, from bottom to top following the lace pattern. Once both parts are knitted, the collar and armholes are finished with a picot edge.

What do you need to know?

To knit and purl,
simple increase and decrease and a double decrease.

Material

• Yarn: I have used Katia Silk Cotton (50gr130m = 142 yds). I bought it in a local yarn shop but, unfortunately is a discontinued yarn. It can be replaced by a similar cotton or cotton/silk mixture yarn – that fulfills the gauge requirements.
• Amount 4 (4, 5, 5, 6) 50 gr skeins/Total in meter 500 (530, 610, 680,730)
• Other yarn suggestions
– Drops safran/ loves you, Katia Capri
• Needles 4mm and 3mm – US 6 and 2.5
• Waste yarn or stitch holders
• Optional circular 3mm needle for the collar

Gauge

In a 10 x 10 cm (4 in x 4 in) square you should have 18 sts and 28 rows. Knit the swatch with the lace pattern and block it.
