Arrosa sweater

Inspiration

In the design process, sometimes you first have the design and then you choose a suitable wool for it. On this occasion the wool was Nora’s choice during the wool fair in Soria. She wanted a pullover for herself and the starting point already guaranteed that it would be a pullover she would wear.

Sizes

2 (4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16) years old. As every child is different you can be guided not only by the years, but also by the measurements of the bust width which is 68 (74, 80, 83, 87, 92, 95, 99) cm/ 26.75 (29.25, 31.5, 32.75, 34.25, 36.25, 37.5, 39)”. Positive ease of around 10-15 cm/ 4-8”

Arrosa sweater lacework knitting pattern for the little one to wear and for the knitters to enjoy.

This sweater has the perfect combination with its openwork yoke that will make you watch the garment grow without wanting to stop and the stockinette stitch part, which you will knit by relaxing your concentration on the pattern. You may also miss the magic of the openwork when you have finished the yoke.

As the openwork is knitted in a circular pattern, we will always face the openwork patterns on the right side of the work, which allows us to generate unique textures with increases and decreases in all the rows.

If it is for a little one in the house, involve her in the choice of yarn. I knitted it with the Rustica yarn from Dlana that Nora chose at the Soria fair. The fact that the little ones have chosen the wool is always an important factor for them to wear it happily.

In the pattern you will find the instructions to knit it sizes 2 (4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16) years old. As every child is different you can be guided not only by the years, but also by the measurements of the bust width which is 68 (74, 80, 83, 87, 92, 95, 99) cm/ 26.75 (29.25, 31.5, 32.75, 34.25, 36.25, 37.5, 39)”. Positive ease of around 10-15 cm/ 4-8”in ten sizes  with final measurement of the tee a between 90 and 180 cm / 35.5 and  70.75 in.

The garment is knitted from top to bottom in a circular pattern, which also allows you to try on the garment to adjust the lengths.

Recommendations to Arrosa sweater knitting pattern

I do recommend that you have an intermediate level of knitting, so you don’t get frustrated. The lace is formed working always on the right side, which also helps for advanced beginners.

The pattern has been tech edited to check for any mistakes and tested by several testers to make sure they could follow it without any problems.

If you love nature and flowers, you can also take a look at the Lore top/sweater, also inspired by nature. It is another construction also full of freshness. I want to see it.
