NORA DRESS

Inspiration
The openwork is my drawing pen. The increases, decreases and the different points mark the lines to follow. This time I was inspired to look for an openwork that was present in the straps, looking for a suitable transition in the front.

Nora – Knitting Pattern for a Girl’s Summer Dress with Lace Straps

Looking to knit something fresh and different? Nora is a light, summery dress designed for the little ones at home—fun to knit for you, and delightful for them to wear. The delicate lace straps add a special touch that makes this piece both charming and enjoyable from start to finish.

🌿 A breezy, comfortable design full of detail

Nora is a joyful project, perfect for warm days. The lace on the straps is easy to memorize, helping the pattern flow smoothly as you knit. The pattern includes 6 sizes (from 2 to 12 years), and you can choose the right one based on age or chest measurement.

👧 Mini&Me Collection: child and adult versions

This pattern is part of the Mini&Me collection, where each design includes a matching adult version. In this case, it pairs with the Nora Tee, which is available here.

✨ Why you’ll love knitting Nora

Because it is clear, well-structured and detailed. Every section—lace included—is explained step by step so you can follow along with ease and enjoy the process without stress.

💬 Recommended for…

Knitters with an intermediate level. If you’re a very new beginner and have never worked lace before, this might feel challenging—better to save it for when you feel more confident. I want you to enjoy it, not get frustrated.
