I’m thrilled to announce that my Lavender Summer Top knitting pattern has been featured in the April 2026 digital issue of I Like Knitting! 🌿💜
This lightweight summer top starts at the back with slim straps, flows seamlessly into a lace-shaped front, and joins to knit in the round for an easy, flattering fit. Finished with a clean neckline and soft I-cord arm edges, it’s a polished piece perfect for summer knitting enthusiasts.
A huge thank you to Carla from @dulcesypunto for letting me know about this amazing call for designs – without her, this pattern wouldn’t be the same.

Pattern Overview
The Lavender Summer Top is worked starting at the back. Straps are knitted first, then stitches are picked up to create the top-down front. The lace chart shapes the neckline, and after joining front and back, the top is worked in the round. I-cord edges form naturally along the armholes.
Key features:
- Top-down construction
- Lace-shaped front
- In-round knitting for easy finishing
- I-cord edges for polished armholes
- Lightweight and breathable for summer
